Cookie Policy

What cookies we use on this site, why we use them, and how to control them.

Last updated · May 12, 2026

This policy explains how HelpDeskio uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing site and in our product. It complements our Privacy Policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a site. Cookies let sites remember things about you — that you are signed in, what language you prefer, or which features you have tried — and let teams measure how a site is performing.

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — required to sign in, keep your session secure and load the right region. These cannot be turned off.
  • Functional — remember your preferences (theme, language, cookie consent). Turning these off may degrade your experience but the site will still work.
  • Analytics — anonymised metrics that help us understand which pages are useful. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track you across other sites.
  • Marketing — used very sparingly to measure the effectiveness of our paid campaigns. You can decline these with no impact on the product.

Managing cookies

When you first visit our site you will see a banner letting you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies and reloading the page, or by adjusting your browser settings to block all cookies — note that this may break sign-in and a few other features.

Third-party cookies

Some of the tools we use set their own cookies (for example, our video player, customer chat and analytics). We choose vendors that respect user privacy and we keep this list short on purpose. A current list is available on request.

Updates

We will update this page whenever we add or remove a cookie category. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the most recent change.
